"you have such pretty hands, seok." you suddenly say, fingers running over seokmin's soft knuckles.

the two of you sat on the couch, seokmin's eyes currently trained on the movie playing on the tv in front of him. he chuckled at something said in the scene, and then turned his attention to you, face in a confused expression as he apologizes. "i'm sorry baby, i didn't hear you. what did you say?"

giggling softly, you peck seokmin's cheek, eliciting a smile from him as you repeat yourself. "your hands─they're very pretty."

and they were very pretty─seokmin's soft hands had stayed wrapped around yours the whole movie, and you couldn't help but glance down at his warm grip, studying his slender fingers and the way they softly pressed against your skin. you wanted to kiss them, if you were being truthful: you wanted to kiss seokmin's fingertips really badly, pressing soft, tiny kisses to each finger.

"awww, thank you, baby," seokmin's not paying attention to the movie anymore, watching you play with his fingers, twisting the promise ring on his middle finger as you watch it glisten in the television's light.

"i want to kiss them." you say again, and seokmin flushes red, chuckling as his voice mixes with the television. "you want to what?"

"i wanna kiss your fingertips, min." the tiny whine in your voice and sparkles in your eyes nearly makes seokmin lose his mind right there, and he sighs, shaking his head as he nods.

"go ahead, baby. kiss my fingertips." seokmin says the sentence with a hint of dominance, and it makes your face turn red, smiling softly as you take his hand to your lips, kissing each fingertip softly.

seokmin's lost sight of everything he should have been focusing on─a plot twist was happening on the screen right now, and he swore he could hear the coffee machine in the kitchen stopping, but couldn't bring himself to get up.

his cheeks were flaring up at your softness, reveling in the way you'd let your soft lips gently touch his manicured fingertips, and the tiny moans and sighs were proof of it. you, on the other hand, were on cloud nine─seokmin's eyes were shut as he let his head fall back in the plushness of the couch. his lips were parted in a tiny "o", and he whined a bit before you pulled away.

"your fingertips taste good." you say after a few more kisses, and seokmin sighs, face a blaring red now as he glares at you.

"i think you're saying that because i just embarrassed myself in front of you." seokmin mumbles to himself, and you chuckle, falling into his chest as you shake your head.

"no, they do taste really good! like caramel." you sigh, and seokmin chuckles, laughter spilling past his plump lips as he sighs heavily. you and him both know he was snacking on caramel popcorn before you two had started the movie─now you were just stating obvious facts to make seokmin laugh at you.

"you're such a dork, baby," he mutters, and you nod, laughing as you scrunch your nose at a kiss seokmin places on your forehead.

"your dork, yeah."

Do you see how effortless that was? He didn't hesitate for a second. How often do you see two guys (who I'm assuming are straight) be this affectionate with each other? A kiss on the inner arm is *such* a tender, intimate gesture, regardless of gender/sexuality - a type of action that is not usually expected between straight men.

And I don't know, I find it incredibly endearing and important to see that, as much as they do all that funny sexy stuff for the fans (and for themselves too - they seem to have so so much fun), these type of actions seem to be a part of their regular off-stage interactions. You can feel how genuinely good friends they all are.

And in the case of Vessel and ii, the founders of Sleep Token and the major force behind it all - how surreal and incredible it must be for them to get to experience all of this together. To see their hard work paying off. To stand proudly in front of literal thousands of people side by side with your best friend??? HELLO???

It's such a small thing, but I carries so much weight ya know? Like yeah dude, I love you and I'm proud of you, and you did a wonderful job. Isn't it SO touching???

I just LOVE to see it. Men who are vulnerable and affectionate around each other, who are comfortable in it, who shows us that yes, platonic friendships and pda are beautiful and important and in no way make you any less of a men. Which is something a LOT of dudebros in the metal scene would benefit in knowing.

I just. I don't know bro. Vessel x ii interactions mean the whole word to me. I was just talking with someone a few days ago of just how far Vessel has come in his music journey, and even within Sleep Token, the difference between One days and now is. Nothing short of astronomical. It feels almost miraculous, yet it is anything bUT, because we know how much effort V and ii put into making the music we so love. And of course iii, although not part of the creation process, has been with them from the beginning as well.

Can you imagine how overwhelmingly awesome and scary it must be for them?? And what are the odds of after a few years of changes, they somehow found the perfect person to complete them? i hate the fact the term karen went from describing a bitchy entitled customer to basically the modern day equivalent of calling a woman a harpy (misogynistic as fuck) and that people use the term on people out in public who are at the end of their rope emotionally from stress or a shitty day. I get it just because your having a rough time doesn't mean you get to be a dick but sometimes I think people are seriously lacking in empathy and I get it a lot shit the customer might be dealing with isn't your responsibility but like if a customer is struggling with something simple maybe don't be a dick? Just a thought.

Been meaning to say this for awhile, but I hope more mascot horror going forward takes more pages from Amanda the Adventurer's Book.

Stop worrying about marketing to the children so much, and make an actual horrifying scenario based around a warped sense of Childhood Nostalgia. Amanda dealing with themes of abandonment, loss, and entrapment and can also be a deconstructive look at how some child actors get treated if you look deep on it. (and these are all my own opinions btw.. I haven't watched any game theory or whatever ppl are saying about it.)

Which is way more interesting to me then "evil science experiments, or a serial killer turned these mascots evil now."

I really loved this game since it's Beta premise and I'm glad it is gaining traction on youtube.

I hope that we haven't seen the last of Amanda. There's probably plans for a sequel, or even a whole franchise.

I just hope that the creators keep Amanda how it is, and try not to lean into that kids horror marketing. Not that there's nothing wrong with horror for kids, but I feel mascot horror is always stronger as a genre when it's appealing to "adults who remember growing up with this stuff" rather then "children who will buy our toys"

@worldsbeyondpod has got to have some of the most tight and well done dungeons and dragons combat I’ve ever listened to. The cast is incredible at making each move feel important and dangerous. There isn’t a lax second in there, it feels tense and scary.

Episode 36 is blowing my mind. @quiddie is a master at using Sky’s actions and thoughts to really bring that tension to life. Absolutely incredible.
